Toronto native Keffaleng knows that fame is one of the most dangerous drugs in existence. We’ve all witnessed how the allure of the limelight has destroyed the lives of some of music’s most talented individuals Still, the 21-year old upstart from The 6is determined to carve out a lane for himself in the heavily trafficked world of hip-hop. With strong Ethiopian roots, Keffaleng turned heads through his melodic grooves last summer on his Still Shanti EP. He’s now back with another chapter to his story, and he calls the project, Not So Famous. Def Jam Record’s Amir Obe joins him as the sole feature on the buzzworthy new release.
