Beats n Bars Festival is set to return this August 25-26 to Durham. Previously held in September, the festival has changed dates to kick off the fall festival series in the area.
The festival will present Dead Prez, Dumbfoundead and Jungle Pussy as the their headliners. Tickets are currently on sale at the official festival website.
For 48 hours, tickets for the main stage will be on sale for $17 on the festival website. The promotion will end Thursday.
The festival also features a conference portion, with speakers and programs being announced this week. On Thursday, patrons will also be able to pre-order this year’s official tshirt. Both the festival and the conference component will run both Saturday and Sunday.
Title sponsors of the festival will be Toyota and Bull Durham Beer Company. This year, the festival also boasts Downtown Durham and Dope Cause We Said as sponsors.
