Ahead of the independent debut Bury Me With Dead Roses, following a timely departure from Warner Records, Phora (@PHORAONE) attends his own funeral in the visual for “The Dream.” Serving as a tribute to Nipsey Hussle, the 6th Element-directed clip takes place in an alternate universe where he didn’t survive his 2015 freeway shooting and is a reminder to critics as wells as fans alike to celebrate the people you value today because tomorrow isn’t promised. The video goes on to reveal the west coast wordsmith winning a Grammy, receiving excessive radio play, topping the Billboard charts, loved ones fighting over personal property, and idols speaking towards the bright future he had all as a result of his death.
