Marcus J releases his newest visual for "Nimbus" featuring Ben Al, off Marcus J's "For Now EP" completely produced by Johnny Swindles. The video was directed by Ernie Redeyes of Grind Life Films. I love the production, hip hop mixed with a little jazz.
Cincinnati, OH emcee Sleep releases a new visual for "Jeremy". This is my second time coming across Sleep, and so far I can tell he's on a level this generation isn't ready for. Lyrically, he's a beast, and his content always gives you a reality check. This is another visual from him that makes you feel like you're watching a movie, but then while listening to the music behind it, you realize its harsh reality. Dope.
Alley decides to shoot a double visual for "War Cry Intro" and "Spend It", both of which were featured on his newly released mixtape, "War Cry".
Nakim drops off his latest release called "Mixtape", featuring Danny Brown. Lookout for his upcoming "REPPIN" project dropping later this summer. I'm becoming more and more of a Danny Brown fan. Yes, I'm a little late.
Ace Hood decides to release a new video for "Da Streets". I say this all the time, but Ace Hood is the most underrated, and copied artist in hip hop. You listen to him and hear at least 5 major artists that sound just like him. Anywho, his forthcoming album, "Trials & Tribulations" is set to drop July 16th.
New York artist Hefna Gwap links up with Rolls Royce Rizzy to shoot the visual for their collab, "Life My Bitch". The track is kinda short, but both emcees swagged it out.
"So I got a call that the homie Rolls Royce Rizzy was in New York City so we got the Elegant Caviar squad 2gether spent a couple days in the studio for 1st time....then "Life My B*tch" was made. Now that's def Elegant Caviar!"
Just a day after Freddie Gibbs expressed his disappointment in Jeezy, he releases new music featuring west coast rapper, Problem. He continues to prove why he's one of the best out. I think ya'll are still sleepin.
Well this is a surprise. Waka recruits Tip for the remix to "50K". This was originally featured on Waka's "DuFlocka Rant Halftime Show" mixtape, but this is the untagged version.
Jarren Benton releases a new visual for "Go Off" featuring former XXL Freshman Hopsin and SwzZz. This appeared on his "My Grandma's Basement" mixtape, which debuted today.
Migos link with fellow Atlanta artist Trinidad James for the remix to their track "Jumpin Out Da Gym". This will be featured on their "YRN" mixtape dropping June 13th.
