Open Letter to Tiger Woods

Tiger, we all make mistakes.  No one on God’s green earth is perfect.  I admire you for striving to be the best at what you do for all these years, all while trying to protect your image and family.  Truthfully, that’s what we all want to do right?  Be the best, and never let anyone know of our faults and short comings, especially when spouses and kids are a part of the equation.  But unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.  The saying, “everything you do in the dark comes to light” is a promise that spares no one.  While it is none of our business what you do behind closed doors, you chose a profession that has no option for privacy.  Although normally the world doesn’t take much interest in golfers, you stand out because you’re not just the first successful black (whether you want to claim it or not) golfer, but more importantly you’re a phenomenon.  When you screw up the world will take note of it and persecute you for as long as they can – especially the white Conservative population, which unfortunately for you runs the golf world.  It is clear that you are now suffering for your mistakes; we all have to at some point.  God is making you deal with the consequences of your actions, but this too shall pass.  This storm won’t last forever, and soon you’ll be able to pick up where you left off.

Now, I don’t judge you for what you did.  You’re human, and again none of us are perfect so who are we to judge.  But I must say that I am deeply disappointed in you for leaving golf indefinitely.  I understand that you want to take this time to mend the brokenness you brought upon your family and reputation, but to me it appears that you let the media scare you off.  I don’t think you even see all of this for what it really is; the fascination that the media has with this whole scandal.  It’s not about Tiger Woods cheating on his wife…it’s about Tiger Woods; the worldwide-loved black guy that took over a predominantly white sport got caught slippin’.  They love this!  White Conservative America and the media are absolutely eating this up and they are going to push it to the max.  South Carolina governor Mark Sanford, a white Republican used his failing state’s money to go across seas to sleep with his Argentina side piece.  His sorry ass should’ve been kicked out of office for that, hands down.  Yeah the media gave him hell…for about two weeks.  But he’s still sitting comfortably in office and STILL doesn’t know how to run his state.  What he did was way worse considering he put his state in jeopardy while he was acting irresponsibly overseas.

Don’t let those deep-hearted racist white folk scare you off Tiger.  You’re doing exactly what they want you to do.  They are so jealous of you.  You came into their territory and took over and they HATE that.  When in doubt, look to your president for motivation.  You see how Obama is attacked on a daily basis.  They refuse to give him any credit for the good he’s done, instead they tear him down every chance they get because THEY FEAR HIM.  But he’s not bowing out or giving in to his opposers.  You’re being attacked because you’re both in positions that they have always dominated until now.  BE A MAN AND FACE YOUR ENEMIES!!!  We need you to stand firm in your position as the greatest golfer living, but more importantly…THEY NEED YOU, whether they admit it or not.  The PGA’s net worth $65 million to over $275 million based off of your endorsements alone.  Keep them talking, and in the mean time…pay attention to whose REALLY had your back throughout this ordeal.  They attacked you, we supported you.
