NOREAGA feat LIL WAYNE AND PHARRELL - FINITO

Right off the top, this bangs… Nore lets ya know off da dribble, “Its tha animal anthem!” The drums Pharrell provide are club-worthy, and announces to the world that ya'll niggas are Finito. One problem. This song is about 6 years tardy. Like, what is the purpose of Nore still putting out tracks? It will land on a few mixtapes, get a few youtube views, and get a coupla syndicated mixshow spins… No one under 30 is checkin for dude. Lil Wayne is pissed his Carter 4 aint dropped, so he just emailin out throwaway verses right now and shit. Biggest loser: Pharrell. The more visible half of the Neptunes coulda gwapped up sellin this track to some still-wet-behind-the-ears rap whippersnapper with a budget. Instead, a potential summer banger is reduced to being a “ay you heard that one song wit Weezy on it?” I give half a fuck, but that's all.

Dope intro. Check. Hype ass hook. Check. Swagged out emcee. Uhm…. Rapper with street cred. Well, see what happened was… The song is a straight up oxymoron. Yung Berg on a track with a hook talmbout “You know who I am”, and “Don't make me do it”… Uh, DO WHAT? Voluntarily donate your chain to whoever demands it? And yes, we know who you are, the cat from Chicago who got robbed at a damn house party in L.A. by some hipsters? FOH.

After the invasion of Facebook and Twitter planking pics this past week, it was only right for someone to try to exploit the fad through bars and hooks. Up to bat is Cleveland, OH trapper CJ Platinum, assisted by Jeff Johnson (fresh off of WSHH). I wanna fool wit the track, but that hook aint the bizness... Maybe some zan and lean could enlighten me, but the 16s actually are decent. Stickin to the song concept, Platinum and Johnson drop some plank references, but this is better off as a internet floater, rookie mixtape filler... AJA gives 2 fucks...
