CEO Don quietly influences culture as fashion designer, recording artist and promoter of world peace
EAST COAST, USA – Intrigue surrounds an up-and-coming new artist from the East Coast of the U.S. With a sound that has already gained the attention of the biggest A&R companies in the industry, young CEO Don is an artist whose music demands attention. But who he is and what he represents is a mystery to so many of his fans as he remains aloof and wants nothing more than for the music to speak for itself.
That music is put on display with his hit album “Wishful Thinking” which has received a 9-out-of-10 rating from multiple industry execs. It’s a project that explores that “almost-made-it” experience of those chasing a dream that isn’t quite realized. But more than content that connects with a wide fan base, it’s a project that features CEO Don’s unique sound and style in ways that cannot be ignored.
“My music is melodic and the flow is original,” he said. “I write everything myself and I just make music to make music, not for money or fame or anything like that. Almost everything I create is truthful – it’s not blasphemous and it’s catchy. I focus on the details and experiment with vocals and bring different twists to my stories by offering a unique combination of singing and harder rap. There’s nothing else out there like me.”
A couple of singles from the album have been gaining CEO Don the most attention. The first is a song called “Bad” which he describes as “cool.” Mostly Rap with a touch of some singing, the song tells the story of a former lover who got away. While CEO Don was going through some hard times, the woman he wanted ended up walking away and giving another guy a chance, leaving him a bit heartbroken. It’s a song that he said many other people can relate to as they’ve been in similar situations.
The other single is called “Burberry” and CEO Don is particularly proud of it because it nods to his success as a fashion designer. Owning his own clothing brand – LPTakeRisks.com – and creating pieces for models and other designers all over the world, young CEO Don has made a name for himself in more ways than just music. And this single touches on his love of high-end clothes by exploring that debonair styles of old-school classy outfits made by Burberry.
“I asked my pops what the best debonair clothing line was and he said back in his day it was Burberry,” CEO Don said. “As I started researching, I realized it was just a classy, cool brand. And it’s still fashionable today. It’s like the upper echelon of cool and that’s what I want to be as an artist and designer. I’ve started my own business and I’m getting ready to start my own record label, Respect The Money Records. A lot of people are going to be wearing my clothes and listening to my music soon, but I’m just a down-to-earth and humble guy who wants to promote peace and try to end racism. I’m a talented artist who plays the saxophone and makes good music.”
