Here’s another one I came across on Twitter. Mississippi native Don Richie dropped off his latest visual for his record “Still Crying”. After chatting with him, and learning of his struggles, he’s one that has a special gift that I believe will ascend him to higher levels. He’s a gem. Check out “Still Crying” below.

Teenage phenom King B most certainly had a breakout year in 2017, having collaborated with the likes of Rich The Kid, Blac Youngsta and several others. This along with the fact that he has been featured on some of the top platforms on the web and his Surrounded By Hate project was very well received. Now with his fanbase steadily rising, the 18-year-old St. Louis native looks to up the ante in 2018. Known for hook-based songwriting abilities, King B takes another route this time, highlighting his lyricism in the remix to Tee Grizzley’s “Win.” On the track, he effortlessly rhymes over the synth-based instrumental.

DJ Afterthought comes through the new year with his debut hip-hop album Cool Blue Jewels. As in the past, he teamed up with Riff Raff to put together a star studded lineup of straight hits. With help from some friends including Wiz Khalifa, Blackbear, Gary Clark Jr, Hardo, Mozzy, Chevy Woods, and more, this project is solid from start to finish.
Here is the first single from project called “Waiting For” featuring John Sisco. Produced by CL McCoy & Greyvyard. Shot and edited by Daniel Kelly.

Discovered some new talent in my inbox earlier, and definitely needed to share. Don’t know much about him, but Sir Rickey showcases some serious lyrical talent in his latest visual for “I Know”. The Macon, GA native who now resides in Jacksonville, Florida, gives us a good balance of new and old school. Check it out below.
