I normally hate doing RIP posts, but this one kinda hit home. WorldStarHipHop’s founder Lee O’Denat, better known as Q, died in his sleep Monday night (yesterday). It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the rumor is that he died of a heart attack.
All I know is this is beyond sad. Many talked shit about WorldStar all the time, due to it’s ratchet content, but the fact is that Q took a website once known for music videos and mixtapes, and turned it into an empire. Many of us dream to do that. So rest in peace, King, thank you for showing people how to turn a simple idea into a million dollar business.
