Memphis native Marco Pavé’s recently released single “Black Tux”, the first drop off his new EP Perception. The Kenny Wayne – produced soulful banger captures and interweaves both personal and political frustrations. infused with a classic sample from Curtis Mayfield’s “We Who Are Darker Than Blue.” On “Black Tux”, Marco highlights the struggles of the artist to live out his dream run parallel to the collective frustration of communities of color, and black communities in particular, over inequality.
