North Carolina’s own Madison Jay is back with a new album titled “These Carolina Nights”. I’m half way through it, and so far he has my full attention, which is hard to get from me these days. Jay lyrically discusses a typical evening for him in the Carolinas. The title track set the tone for the album, as witty bars and talented lyricism were definitely showcased. I shouldn’t be surprised though, Madison is consistent with his releases. He’s another gem not quite yet discovered. “These Carolina Nights” is the follow up to the critically acclaimed “Wake County’s Finest” project from 2021.
