Remy Ma, Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, Rah Digga, Nicki Minaj, and more get a nod in Miss Kaniyah’s latest on-screen offering. Appropriately titled “HipHop18,” the quick-strike visual EP finds the lusty lyricist effortlessly running through classic instrumentals like Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm” and Diddy’s “All About The Benjamins” with enough confidence to give Cardi B a run for her money.
Showcasing her talents in front as well as behind the camera, the Fly Lee TV co-directed clip was choreographed by Devante Turnbull and was filmed on location in NYC. Following the release of her thought-provoking remix to Craig Mack’s “Flava In Ya Ear” and her latest single “Black & White,” the mini-movie once again highlights the DC-based entertainer’s dance, rhyme, and overall creative direction abilities.
