Raised in Coral Springs, FL. Growing up, Ashleigh came from a sheltered upbringing where everything was handed to her. Hue is one of 7 children, she being the third oldest and a twin. At the age of 5, Ashleigh Hue's mother enrolled her intoacting and modeling school. As she grew older, she began
to lose interest in the so called Hollywood industry.

Growing up, Ashleigh always had business ideas from the time she was 11 years of age. She traveled all over as a young girl and was exposed to a lot of success. Starting her first clothing line in 2003, King Of Kings, which catered to the urban Rastafarian culture. After Ashleigh graduated high school, She decided to start her college career at the Art Institute Of Fort Lauderdale where she majored in Interior Design and Architecture. She being the "Black Sheep" of her siblings, her mother never approved of any decisions she made. The word "Doctor", was never in Ashleigh's career goals. She has always been called the artistic, creative, different daughter.

While Hue was in college, she made a big decision to go back into modeling and acting aside from studying. Shortly after, she had her big break with a High Fashion
spread in J'adore Magazine. Being re-introduced to the Hollywood industry, she was now exposed to the fashion side of things. Not only was Ashleigh doing Interior
Design, she started doing Fashion design and Styling now. After she left The Art Institute Of Fort Lauderdale, She started a business called Trademark Design Group, A design firm, in 2007. It first started off as just a Fashion Merchandising company but now has merged into an Interior design and Fashion design firm offering a wide range of services. Ashleigh Hue launched her Lingerie line, YEN in September 2010.
